Villa de Leyva is a gorgeous little village where they maintained the colonial style. Beautiful white houses and buildings, large stone boulders as streets, many churches and many squares. The central square is known to be the biggest stone square of South America. It is no wonder that Villa de Leyva was proclaimed to be a national monument of Colombia in 1954.
Besides the colonial atmosphere the area of Villa de Leyva is perfect for ecological walks or horse riding tours. There are also some archaeological sites to visit, of which ‘El Fósil’ and ‘El Infiernito’ are the most famous.
We offer packages from 3 days/2 nights including private transport from and to Bogota and accommodation in a hotel in the colonial center. We made a distinction between a cultural and an adventurous program. Off course it is possible to get a custom made program with the by the client preferred activities. It is also possible to extend your stay in Villa de Leyva, there is enough to see and do in the area, so why not?
